Nabanna scholarship application for 2024-2025 Started. Last date not published yet. Candidate are requested to take print out of official format of MP/MLA Certificate before applying Nabanna Scholarship.

Nabanna Scholarship (Chief Minister Relief Fund) Students, who have passed with certain required percentage of number  in his/her last examination are eligible to apply this scholarship. The required percentage of marks obtain is different for every course.  The amount of scholarship money also varies from course to course. Details are provided below.

Eligibility Criteria

• Student who have applied for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship (SVMCM) or Bikash Bhawan Scholarship are not Allowed to apply this scholarship.
• Student who have applied SC/ST OBC Stipend (OASIS)  are not Allowed to apply this scholarship.
• Applicant should be a permanent resident of the State of West Bengal.
• Student passed out from West Bengal and Presently Studying West Bengal. (Studying or Passing  from Another state not allowed)
• Securing 50% and above but less than 60% marks in aggregate in Madhyamik for studying in Higher Secondary 
• Securing 50% and above but less than 60% marks in Higher Secondary examination for studying in Under Graduate level.
• Securing 50% and above but less than 53% marks in aggregate in Graduation for studying in Post Graduate.
• Yearly family income does not exceed Rs. 1,20,000/- only.
• Not enjoying any Government/Non-Government scholarship/stipend for the same course/stage of study.

 

🔴 Documents for NABANNA Scholarship New or Renewal

1. Write or type an Application (Letter) on white paper to the Chief Minister for financial assistance duly signed by the student. Student's Complete address, mobile number and e-mail ID (if any) should be mentioned in the letter. (write CM's address on top of the letter "To, The Chief Minister’s Office, Nabanna, 325, Sarat Chatterjee Road Howrah - 711 102")
2. Print out copy of  Recommendation Letter from local MLA / MP. (Format available at Cyberinn)
3. Family Income Certificate issued by competent authority ( for Municipality SDO or DM  and  for Panchayat BDO / Joint BDO)
4. Print out copy of Self-Declaration by the student. This declaration should be countersigned by the head of the present institution with stamp / seal (Format available at Cyberinn)
5. Admit Card of 10th standard.
6. Mark Sheet of qualifying examination (for studying in H.S. the qualifying examination is Madhyamik / for studying in U.G. Level the qualifying examination is H.S. and for studying in P.G. Level the qualifying examination is Graduation)
7. Rank card of the entrance examination for professional courses like Diploma Eng. / B.E. / B.Tech. / MBBS / Law / Nursing / Pharmacy
8. Allotment letter for admission in above said professional courses
9. First page of Pass Book of applicant’s active savings Bank Account where A/c. No., IFSC No. and Account Holder’s Name is clearly visible
10. Admission receipt for current academic year / semester

 

⭕️ FAQ : 

🔹 Applicant's family income should be under Rs 1,20,000/- per annum.

🔹In case of Applicant living in Municipality Area Income Certificate will Sign SDO or DM. (Income certificate have to apply though online. Know about process of online income certificate Click Here)

🔹In case of Applicant living in Panchayat Area Income Certificate will Sign BDO or Joint BDO (Income certificate have to apply though online. Know about process of online income certificate Click Here)

🔹Students are studying in regular course are eligible for applying this scholarship. Studying under Open universities or Distance education program are not allowed in this scholarship scheme.

🔹Applicants are presently studying in West Bengal and He/She passed his/her Last examination in West Bengal are only eligible for applying this scholarship.

🔹Students migrated from another state (Last examination passed in out of West Bengal) are not allowed to apply this Scholarship.

🔹If your last examination conducted under Semester system, then you have to submit Scan copy of both semester Marksheets and you have to calculate both semester marks together.

🔹In Renewal case, you have to secure the percentage of marks described above eligibility criteria in every last two semesters or last year examination, otherwise you can not renew the scholarship for next year.
