Eligibility criteria for the Junior Talent Search Test & Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti 

 

1. Who can apply?

✅ Students who passed their 10th standard exams in this year only. ( Year GAP students are not allowed)
✅ They must have achieved at least 75% marks or an equivalent C.G.P.A. in their 10th standard exams.
✅ They must currently be enrolled in Class XI in the science stream.
✅ In Class XI, they must have at least 3 subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, or any other science related subjects.

✅ These students can be studying in any school located in West Bengal.

 

2. Who can not apply?

 Students who passed their 10th standard exams before the current year are not eligible to apply. This means only students who passed 10th class in this year are eligible.

 

3. Additional Information:

 Junior Talent Search Test Boys & Girls both can apply.

 The Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti scholarship is specifically for girl students. Boys are not eligible for this particular scholarship.

 In simple terms, this scholarship is for who have passed 10th exams in this year with excellent marks and are currently studying science subjects in Class XI in any school in West Bengal. It's a great opportunity for them to pursue their higher education in science.

4. Examination:

 Eligible students will have to appear in an examination.

 Junior Talent Search Test / Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti is a 2 Hours duration examination with full marks of 90. Students are to answer from Physical Science, Mathematics and Life Science. The distribution of questions shall be as below:

 Admit card will be sent to your email address provided by you in this application form.

 

5. Examination Syllabus:

 6 Questions are to be answered from each subject. Each question carries 5 marks. [There may be multiple parts within the questions. There will be no optional question].

 Question will be 10th Std. Examination basis. Subjects: Physical Science, Life Science and Mathematics.

• Physical Science = 30 marks
• Life Science = 30 marks 
• Mathematics = 30 marks

6. Financial Benefits (Scholarship Amount)

 Junior Talent Search Test: Rs. 1250/- per month for two years. & Rs. 2500/- per year Book Grant for two years.  (till completion of 12th standard examination).

 

 Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Rs. 1250/- per month & annual Book grant of Rs. 2500/- per year for 2 years (till completion of 12th standard examination).

7. Academic Benefits 

 All   selected scholars shall get the scholarship certificate. 

 Exposure  to  seminar,   workshops, scientific projects collaborated by scientific community.
